The impact toughness of fine steel-wire reinforced polymer composites

$15.00

In this study, a test method was developed to measure the toughness of fine steel wire reinforced polymer composites using a Charpy impact tester. Using a special procedure a strip of steel wire-polymer composite was attached to a standard impact test specimen of 1018 steel. To simulate an impact specimen a notch was carefully machined in the polymer composite.
