Improvement of the product quality through less material faults, increasing the resilience while reducing the weight without any constraint as regards the resistivity – all these requirements to components are mainly achieved by a high quality wire. The meaning of wire for the automotive industry, the medicine technology, the cable and electro technology as well as many other appliances in our everyday life can never be appraised highly enough. For example, there are up to 80 appliances in state-of-the-art vehicles which can all be traced back to wire in different forms. These are, amongst others, screws, springs, bolts, high class enamelled wire in engines partially as main drive in order to replace the existing combustion engine. Undoubtedly you will find a large number of other applications for high quality wire. The following paper would like to show a process which allows to meet these requirements and at the same time retain existing production processes.
