In today’s competitive environment, a company producing harness wire for the automobile industry has to study carefully not only its own part of the multiple process steps to find the best economic machinery layout, but all steps from beginning to end of the full range of process steps that have to be analyzed. This includes transport and packing. Today not all processes can be done in one factory with transport of cable taking place during the complete process.
