The physical properties of high carbon steel rope as affected by variations in patenting

$15.00

A study designed to determine the effects of patenting methods on physical properties of high carbon steel rope is presented. Three different steels were air or lead patented at 900, 1000 or 1100~F, then drawn into wire. Results, which indicate that patenting has a definite effect on physical properties, are presented graphically.
