The object of this paper is to present an update on the process, and in particular, to explore specific customer production experience when compared to preceding and present competitive curing systems, the application of the system to differing types of wire and cable manufacture, the curing of elastomeric and cross linkable thermoplastic compounds, the health and safety aspects of the process and finally the economics of the process, as seen through the eyes of a user.
