This paper illustrates the important role an in-process Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analyzer and Structural Return Loss (SRL) predictor system play in the manufacturing process of data communication and coaxial cable. It covers various methods currently being used in the industry. Using actual field data recorded by an SRLPro predictor, it illustrates the savings realized by various manufacturers.
