Description
Quality , defined as how a product meets its specifications, is discussed as a concept which causes considerable confusion and unnecessary antagonism. Quality is considered compliance, the level of compliance must be understood and agreed upon before quality becomes an issue, the standard product must be the quality product, and quality is effected by all personnel involved with a product. The true control of quality is the responsibility of the supplier. Bechtel’s approach to quality is summarized.
