In part three of a three-part series production problems involved in the finishing of electrically insulated wire and cable are considered. Causes of incompatability in reservoir or on wire, poor coating pick-up, sleeving, blistering, sticking on sheaves, sticking on adjacent strands, flattening of finish, pinholing, coating deformation on reeling, sticking on reeling, and lamination of coats are discussed.
