Description
In this paper a method for determination of fatigue strength of wires (Zgo) on the basis of their tensile strength (Rm), number of bends (Nb) and number of twists (Nt) will be described. Those properties have allowed for a determination of number of cycles N for rope rupture during the fatigue durability test. An elaborated procedure can be used for steel ropes with different sizes and constructions, especially for ropes with construction of 6×7+Ao.
