The newly developed quenching and soaking technique Liquid Quenchant Fluidized Bed Technology uses the thermodynamic wire transformation process to precisely quench and soak steel during strand patenting. Old technologies result in the termination of heat transfer when wire and media temperature are equal. This new technology allows an infinite number of heat transfer coefficients by changing media composition depending upon thermodynamic wire requirements at any specific time.
