Torsion tube package SZ-Stranding method for fiber optic cables

$15.00

Despite the rapid development in the area of fiber optic cables the loose tube cable construction is still the dominating one in many areas. A fullsize fiber optic loose tube cable is a result of seven subprocesses; from preform production to jacketing. Every subprocess has an effect on final cable quality and productivity that only increases when following the process step by step. This presentation focuses on one of these subprocesses – SZ-stranding process of fiber optic loose tube cables. The main goal is to find out some new guide-lines for the process that is quite simple, but has great effect on the cable performance.
