Torsional behavior of pearlitic wires according to their crystallographic texture

$15.00

During wet or dry drawing, two kinds of crystallographic texture are observed inside a wire: a fiber texture and a circular texture. Industrial experiments according to the die angles and to the friction on the dies show their influence on the homogeneity of the deformation. The presence of the circular texture is the reason for the weakness in the torsional behavior of the wire.
