Tougher environmental standards may soon outlaw traditional acid-based wire cleaning techniques

$15.00

Due to tougher environmental standards, non-acid cleaning techniques are becoming increasingly important in the processing of wire products. Using a combination of bipolar electrolysis in a neutral salt electrolyteand focused ultrasound in water, the Dyna Power® system fromDynaMotive Technologies Corporation produces exceptionally clean wire surfaces without the use of acids or caustics. With an environmentally benign electrolyte that is not consumed in the process, waste treatmentis simplified and generated sludge is less than conventional toxic cleaning process.
