Unique Atmosphere Control System for Carbon Control

$15.00

ALNAT-FC is a newly developed system to control zero decarburization and zero recarburization in a wire annealing furnace. The continuous analysis of the gas atmosphere in the furnace permits us to produce a reliable, very homogenous and unique quality product, which meets and fulfills today’s expectations. This paper will address the comparison between generated and synthetic gas, and will explain the theory behind the ‘carbon flux’ method. The recently installed unit gives an excellent overview of how the process works in a wire manufacturing plant.
