V-I characteristics and loss measurement results of HTS superconductor tapes

$15.00

This paper reports testing results of HTS (High Temperature Superconductor) tape. Critical current magnetic field measurements were performed, parallel and perpendicular to the surface, at 0.2 T. Loss from the tapes was also measured. All measurements were conducted under an external magnetic field at 0.2T and 60 Hz frequency. These conditions correspond to magnetic field and frequency values, typical of today’s superconducting transformers and cables. Analysis of experimental data will be useful for critical and operating current and loss calculations.
