Water Removal from Loopro Line Vacuum Extraction

$15.00

In 1990, Amercord installed a TVE water removal vacuum system on their Loopro line. The vacuum system uses the unique NASH liquid ring vacuum pump to remove water from brass plated steel wire. High velocity air is pulled by the vacuum slot. The water, which is stripped from the wire by the vacuum, is collected in the system. Wire quality was improved by eliminating the water from the wire. Savings were realized by discontinuing use of radiant heating sections. Performance data, including wire quality data, are presented for the line with the vacuum system in use. Comparison is made to an existing line using a conventional air wipe system.
