Description
New thinking in Wire Manufacturing around the world. Information gathered from wire mills around the world on actual visits to wire manufacturer mills where I was involved in the installation and start up of our scalping machines for removing surface defects from H.R. wire rod. Countries visited were Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Italy, France, Germany, Sweden and England. This paper will make American manufacturers more aware of export markets and what they need to do to participate. Illustrations with pictures, charts and data will be presented.
