A review of the controversy on hot dip galvanizing versus electrogalvanizing is presented. Points discussed in the series of articles on this topic are analyzed. The author contends that the newest improvements (neutral flux method, deep side-fired kettles) in the hot galvanizing technique make it superior to electrogalvanizing, which requires costly, elaborate equipment and often results in a low quality product.
