The chemical and physical properties, fabrication, and uses of Teflon FEP-fluorocarbon resin are discussed. The resin’s thermal properties, insulation resistance, dielectric strength, dielectric constant and dissipation factor, cut-through resistance, and chemical resistance are outlined. The processing of the resin into wire is described, as are its applications.
