Trace a small history of the wire rod imports and exports to and from the United States going back to the 1950’s or (if I can find the statistics) to the period starting after the end of World War II (which would be 1946). Develop a history of pricing for both exports and imports and contrast it to the domestic market, again to the extent that I can put the statistics together. Countries of destination for the exports and countries of origin for the imports would also be interesting from that time to the present.
