Reinvigorated Wire Expo Heads to Wisconsin in May 2026

Wire Expo 2026 heads to Milwaukee May 6–7 at the Baird Center alongside EWPTE. Explore exhibits, fast technical sessions, networking, and WAI’s Fundamentals course. Registration is now open.

Wire Expo 2026 will bring new energy to the wire and cable industry this spring. The biennial event will make its first stop in Wisconsin. Milwaukee will host the show on May 6–7 at the Baird Center. WAI will also launch event updates through its new website, wirenet.org.

Wire Expo will deliver a high-impact experience built for connection, learning, and business growth. The event will unite suppliers, manufacturers, and industry leaders under one roof. Attendees can also join the WAI Fundamentals of Wire Manufacturing Course on May 5. The course will take place at the Hyatt, which connects to the Baird Center by skywalk.

Wire Expo and EWPTE Create a Unified Show Experience

Wire Expo will run alongside the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo (EWPTE). Both events will share conference sessions and exhibits. This format will allow attendees to move easily between education and the show floor.

Show hours will run:

  • Wednesday, May 6: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 7: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Day one will end with the Opening Reception from 6:30–8:30 p.m. The reception will take place on the 4th Floor Ballroom Terrace. Attendees can enjoy refreshments, industry connections, and views of the Milwaukee skyline.

Exhibit Space Is Filling Fast

Wire Expo 2026 will feature a strong and growing exhibit floor. As of December 23, 100 companies have already confirmed their exhibit space. Exhibitors can take advantage of a turnkey package that supports business-ready setups. The package includes carpet, electric, wi-fi, and 200 lbs of freight.

A limited number of exhibit spots remain available. The sales team will assign spots on a first-come, first-served basis.

Conference Sessions Shift to a Fast, Practical Format

WAI redesigned the conference program for maximum efficiency. Sessions will run in a 20-minute format in an exhibit-floor theater. This approach will keep education concise and accessible. Attendees can gain insights without leaving the exhibit area for long.

WAI will announce the first confirmed speakers soon. The team will also release new product showcases and preliminary agenda details. Updates will appear in future coverage and at wirenet.org.

Member Lounge Adds Value on the Show Floor

The WAI Member Lounge will serve as a key hub on the exhibit floor. Members can use the lounge to network, recharge, and regroup between sessions. The space will include a resource and learning center to support member engagement.

Wire Expo will also introduce new sponsorship tiers. These packages will help companies increase visibility on-site. Advertising opportunities are also available through the Wire Expo sales team.

Registration Is Now Open
