The WAI New England Chapter will host its annual meeting at a familiar venue.
The chapter will return to the Cabaret Theatre at Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino.
The event will take place in Uncasville, Connecticut, on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Registration is now open for this regional networking event.
The meeting also supports the WAI New England Chapter Scholarship Fund.
Attendees can expect an evening of networking, celebration, and community.
Networking, Dinner, and Chapter Updates Highlight the Program
The annual meeting will include dinner and chapter updates.
The chapter will also introduce its 2026 officers.
Guests can enjoy a raffle and a photo booth during the event.
The meeting will also include a look back at the chapter’s strong 2025 season.
2025 Golf Outing Delivered Big Participation and Great Weather
The chapter closed 2025 with a successful golf outing.
It returned to Tunxis Country Club in Farmington, Connecticut.
The event marked the chapter’s 31st annual golf outing.
A total of 143 golfers joined the outing.
The day delivered ideal weather and strong participation.
The Lloyd & Bouvier team won the event.
The winning team included Michael Tucker, Darren Tucker, Joe Yabba, and Gibson Yabba.
They finished at 15 under par.
Scholarship Program Remained a Major Focus in 2025
The chapter directed a strong donation from the golf outing to scholarships.
The chapter also announced its six scholarship winners for 2025.
Each scholarship award totaled $2,500.
The 2025 recipients included:

- John Hartline, son of Christopher Hartline, RichardsApex
- Luke McComiskey, son of Thomas McComiskey, The MGS Group
- Erin Mulligan, daughter of Alan Mulligan, Vandor Corporation

- Ryan Delage, Intern Scholarship recipient sponsored by Sjogren Industries Inc.
Dr. John Sviokla Will Speak on AI and Digital Transformation
The annual meeting will feature a keynote speaker with deep AI expertise.
Dr. John Sviokla will speak on AI and digital transformation.
Dr. Sviokla serves as an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School.
He earned both his doctorate and MBA from Harvard University. Building upon this foundation, he played a pivotal role in shaping early thought leadership on AI-driven competition and continues to advise global leaders navigating technology-led transformation.
At the meeting, he will explain why organizations must evolve.
He will focus on a shift toward hybrid human and AI intelligence.
He will also share practical steps for making that transition.
