A new generation of corrosion protective coating

$15.00

Bekaert has developed the Bezinal(R) zinc-aluminum coating in order to cope with more demanding environments faced by steel wire. Zinc is present to provide for galvanic protection. The dissolution of zinc results in aluminum enrichment at the outer layers, so that gradually the passivation characteristics by aluminum become more pronounced. The net result is that the steel substrate is protected for a longer period.
