A study on stress relaxation behavior of thermomechanical heat treated cold drawn steel wires

$15.00

In the present work, stress relaxation phenomenon has been examined generally. Experiments were carried out on carbon steel wires with diameters 8 and 9.40 mm which are particularly used in prestressed concrete systems. Thermo-mechanical heat treatment was also carried out on these wires in order to relieve the residual stresses accumulated after the cold work.
