A Systematic Approach for Improving Wire Drawing Performance

$15.00

This paper will present a method for improving wire drawing performance and evaluating the improved performance. A brief introduction will set the ground work for the need of establishing a performance base line and discuss basic statistical concepts used to improve drawing performance.A method of identifying and tracking copper throughout the drawing operation will be discussed. A wire break collection program and wire break classification will be presented. The equipment and method required to identify and analyze wire breaks and evaluate drawing performance will be discussed.
