This paper describes a unique conductivity measurement system (% IACS) specially designed for a frequent routine testing of rod materials (copper, aluminum, aluminum/alloy or other conductors) from 6 to 25 mm diameter. The system developed by GBC is able to achieve the maximum accuracy, +/-0.05 percent or better, due to the careful and precise evaluation of sample preparation, length, temperature, weight, selection and manufacturing of instruments. The paper describes and illustrates step by step the sequence and engineering of the conductivity determination system.
