Abrasion studies of automotive primary cables insulated with XLPE compounds

$15.00

An experimental study using two types of abrading tests (sandpaper and needle), according to ISO-6722-1 and SAE-J-1128 standards, was performed in automotive primary cable insulated with XLPE compounds. Results showed in both tests that the cable size is the primary factor affecting the abrasive resistance, followed by degree of curing and density of the mixed PE with EVA.
