Factors such as oxygen content, particle size, particle distribution and shape in copper rod are investigated experimentally and correlated to an analysis of wire breaks. Performance of wire drability is discussed mainly based on the above-mentioned characteristic behavior of rod. Detail results are expressed both in pictures as well as experimental curves and are accompanied by theoretical explanation.
