Combined rolling and drawing of square bars

$15.00

A new process for combined rolling and drawing of square bars has been developed in which two different operations of metalworking are performed in a single material pass. This results in a change of deformation path and back tension. Tests were conducted to determine the geometric dimensions of the bars obtained from the process; mechanical properties of the material (steel 10); inhomogeneity of the material’s hardening at the cross section of a bar; HV2 hardness; and the force parameters of the process.
