The use of computers for determination of optimum process rates for wire and cable C.V. lines is described. Special lab techniques and new computer software allow measurement of cure characteristics in both peroxide and accelerated sulfur cure systems. Vulcanization kinetics, computer programs, and practical application of theory through use of computer programs are discussed.
