Continuous processing of copper rod for electrical applications

$15.00

Considerable improvements in the process of producing copper rod have been realized since the conception, and now almost exclusive use, of continuous casting. The history of this method, the various processes employed (wheel and belt, twin belt, dip forming, and upwards casting) and a comparison of methods are provided. No one system is seen as clearly supplanting the others, with each process producing rod of acceptable quality.
