Degradation of mechanical properties of drawn copper wire by occurrence of dynamic recrystallization

$15.00

This paper discusses an investigation of the occurrence of dynamic recrystallization for drawn wire. A drawback of drawn wire is that mechanical property changes can occur abruptly due to dynamic recrystallization during wiredrawing, transportation, or storage. Dynamic recrsytallization occurs when the total reduction of wiredrawing is extremely high. The occurrence of dynamic recrystallization of high-purity copper wire (6N) in particular occurs easily.
