With pressure system dies, wire lubrication is increased, friction is decreased, drawing speeds can be increased and die life is improved. The pressure is found by an arrangement of two dies, the first one with a clearance between die and incoming wire, the second one that makes the area reduction. The appropriate clearance selection determined the lubrication pressure.
