Research on the influences of thermal treatment on elastic properties, changes of hardness, and crystal structure is discussed. Experimental procedures are detailed and the results of tests on brass with varying zinc concentrations are presented graphically. Information on vibrational modulus of elasticity, Vicker’s hardness, vibrational modulus of torsion, and rigidity or shear are graphed.
