Electromagnetic wiping – The breakthrough at last

$15.00

There have been extensive developments along the way, but the concept of using electromagnetic forces to wipe the galvanized coating is now well proven. Benefits include coat weights consistently held within 30 gms of requirements, zinc savings from 20 to 30 %, extremely concentric coatings and improved surface quality of the final wire. While results are confined to zinc coatings on ferrous wires, this process lends itself to any metallic coatings on metal, regardless of shape.
