Forecast of behavior of high carbon rod during drawing

$15.00

Based on results obtained in controlled wire drawing equipments, Unimetal established a data basis for High Carbon Wire Rod. After verification and control against results obtained in industrial applications, we expanded this data basis by statistical means. Initial modelization allowed us to: estimate the evolution of properties during drawing for wire of untested quality or diameter – determine in advance the Wire Rod to be used (Diameter/Quality) in order to obtain the desired tensile and yield strength.
