Important advances in wire annealing with high-vacuum self-lift bell

$15.00

This paper discusses important advances in large-scale wire annealing with high-vacuum self-lift bell and/or large car bottom vacuum furnaces, in which it becomes possible to transform the vacuum furnaces into controlled atmosphere units enabling carbon restoration for material that might be decarburized during rod rolling or subsequent in-house treatment by wire makers. This paper reports on vacuum-tight radiant tubes for electrical and gas heating under a vacuum for heating sources of 1200 KW and higher.
