Description
This paper provides the reader with solutions to extend the life of copper wiredrawing lubricant systems. The physical and chemical challenges faced by a wiredrawing fluid can be minimized through new technologies that reduce the formation of insoluble soaps and reduce the generation of copper articulate, as well as promote better detergency and lubricity through the formation of soluble soaps. Ultimately this will lead to greater emulsion stability over time, thereby extending system life.
