New measuring technology has been developed which facilitates the permanently increasing demands of the wire and cable industry for quality and productivity, especially laid out for the measurement of telephone wires, data cables and coaxial cables. The new technology offers XY-diameter measurement, capacitance measurement with high frequency resolution and bare wire detection, eccentricity measurement and XY lump/neckdown detection, as well as high frequency spark testing.
