Novel gas furnace improves bright annealing

$15.00

A strand annealing furnace, used for continuous bright annealing of nonferrous wire by F.A. Harris Inc, is described. The basis of this furnace is the use of 120 lengths of iron pipe, through which wire strands are drawn. The pipes keep wires from becoming tangled and simplify the use of controlled atmosphere for imparting a proper finish to the product. A furnace for batch annealing is also described.
