Recent development work on the Pressurized Liquid Salt Continuous Vulcanization (PLCV) system are reported. The system is described, and a diagram is included. Plant parameters and a list of successfully processed cables for a pilot plant in Boston are given. Several new installations are described and evaluated; test results obtained on cured jackets are presented.
