Pre-treated steel wire for class 109 fasteners

$15.00

The main evolution in Cold Forming Industry concerns the heat treatment suppression, after forming. Steel makers propose solutions with microalloyed C-Mn steels, for class 8.8 fasteners. But for higher classes, there are very few industrial solutions. We present here an already treated wire, fulfilling the class 10.9 requirements, with high ductility, and a cold forming behavior closed to spheroidized 38Cr4, the standard steel for this class.
