Two series of tests have determined microrolling to be a superior process to die drawing in producing both ferrous and nonferrous wire. A summary of results of random tests of over 100 microrolling test runs is presented. Orderly experimention beginning with carbon steels, to compare die drawing to microrolling operations are summarized for individual rod samples.
