Springback of wire and residual stresses during unloading after plastic deformation

$15.00

This work presents a theoretical analysis and experimental investigation of variations of an arc element radius during unloading after plastic deformation. It proves that wire springback increases with an increase of the ratio between the radius of the arc element and the wire radius. It shows that yield strength of the wire also results in the increase of wire springback.
