The influence of die angle on final stress state for micro-alloyed steel wires

$15.00

The influence of die angle on final stress state with respect to the drawing process is the main subject of this paper. It especially focuses on achieving optimal die angle with respect to surface quality of boron-based micro-alloyed steel. The behavior of surface defects is also influenced by magnitude of reduction degree. It concerns particularly reduction of surface stress, which has a significant effect on the final size and form of surface defect. This paper includes an FEM mathematical wiredrawing simulation.
