Description
The term ‘wire drawing’ is understood as the general drawing of cord-shaped metal materials. Many metals are more or less suitable for being drawn and various finished products are manufactured thereof. At this point the subject shall only be the drawing of copper wires which are further processed to electrical conductors. The topic ‘wire drawing in the year 2000’ can be looked at from two point of view: developments and changes in the market (product-oriented) and tendencies in the area of production lines (quality and technology-oriented).
