X-ray analysis of hot-galvanized heat-treated coatings

$15.00

Investigations carried out on iron-zinc alloys are reviewed; results of X-ray diffraction analysis of randomly chosen samples from a commercial galvanized sheet are reported. Data show that all intermediate phases of the iron-zinc system are found in the heat-treated zinc coating, with the predominant component being the zeta (FeZn 613 1) phase.
